The Abyss is the main battleground for the faction warfare, while other mid-to-high level areas will be occasionally bound together with 'rifts', allowing for spontaneous PvP skirmishes. The lower level areas will not have this, in order to protect new players.

Aion Gold is already very stable, and bugs are few and non-critical. The phases of beta are highly organized just to ensure that the game is in good shape when released.
